Moor End Rugosa

Rosa rugosa (commonly known as the rugosa, beach or Japanese rose) is a flowering shrub native to eastern Asia. It is recognised by its highly scented pink or white flowers, distinctive wrinkled leaves and large red rose hips, which are edible and rich in vitamin C. Although admired for its beauty and resilience, in the UK it is a non-native species listed as an invasive weed.
