“As Sheffield Children's celebrates 150 years of caring for children and young people, Pride of Place celebrates the creativity, voices and experiences of the children at the heart of everything we do.

Created as part of the Pride of Yorkshire celebrations, this collection brings together artwork made by patients, families and staff with artists Tom J Newell, Josephine Dellow and Liah Edwardes - all artists from the Pride of Yorkshire sculpture trail.

Through drawing, collage, storytelling, sensory art and life drawing, children and young people shared their ideas, stories and imaginations. Their creativity inspired the artists and became part of the finished works, bringing the spirit of Pride of Yorkshire into Sheffield Children's. The project is a collaboration between Sheffield Children's, Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity and the Pride of Yorkshire trail, celebrating 150 years of caring for children and young people and looking towards the future.
