An Exhibition by Liah Edwardes in residence at Earls Court Development Company
In January 2023, The Earls Court Development Company (ECDC) launched an Artist in Residence programme selecting twelve artists to work with the local community over a three-year period to deliver portraits and community arts projects.
Each residency lasts three months, with the artist based locally in a studio at The Community Hub in West Kensington.
Liah Edwardes was the eighth artist in residence, known for her focus on portraiture and life drawing. This exhibition,
'Thank You for Your Time' is all about connection and the moments that make up life in Earls Court. By giving her own time to meet, listen, and engage with the people who make up this community, she has curated a collection of works that reflects the rhythm of life in London-its fleeting moments and enduring connections.
